Day 1 | Ambon, Indonesia Arrive to a warm welcome in Ambon. Board Aqua Blu and enjoy a delicious dinner onboard, curated by renowned chef Benjamin Cross. Settle into your suite and bid farewell to the harbor as you set sail along the scenic northern coast. |
Day 2 | Hila, Ambon, Indonesia Head out for your first excursion to explore the historical Dutch Fort Amsterdam in the coastal town of Hila. Sail through the afternoon and learn about the incredible history of the spice trade. Next, enjoy a sundowner as Aqua Blu continues sailing to the Banda Islands. While traveling through the deep expanse of the Banda Sea, partake in the old ‘hands to bathe’ naval tradition. |
Day 3 | Banda Islands, Indonesia Approach the Banda Islands at sunrise, greeted by kora-kora war canoes at the harbor. Stroll through history at the Dutch Fort Nassau on Banda Neira — once the most hotly contested island in the world. After lunch, enjoy snorkeling or diving, and end the evening with a sundowner at Fort Belgica. |
Day 4 | Pulau Ai, Indonesia Pulau Run, Indonesia Arrive at sunrise and explore crystal-clear waters filled with coral gardens and reef fish. Visit Fort Revenge and nutmeg storehouses on Pulau Ai. Spend the afternoon on Pulau Run, famously traded for Manhattan in 1667, and enjoy a sunset cocktail on its historic shores. |
Day 5 | Pulau Manuk, Indonesia Enjoy sunrise breakfast with views of towering volcanic cliffs. The island is home to seabirds, sea snakes, and reef sharks drawn to underwater thermal springs. |
Day 6 | Pulau Serua, Indonesia Nil Desperandum Reef, Indonesia Dive into vibrant coral reefs and marine life, including possible hammerhead shark sightings. In the afternoon, explore Nil Desperandum’s coral formations surrounded by tuna and mackerel. |
Day 7 | Pulau Nyata, Indonesia Pulau Romang, Indonesia Pulau Tellang, Indonesia Dive for hammerhead sharks and rays, with optional fishing in non-protected waters. Continue to Telang for snorkeling and kayaking with chances to spot silvertip sharks. |
Day 8 | Wetar, Indonesia Explore Wetar’s rugged coastline with diving, trekking, and cultural experiences. Encounter manta rays, sharks, and traditional village life unchanged for centuries. |
Day 9 | Alor, Indonesia Discover fishing villages and vibrant reefs. Experience traditional dance performances by the Abui Tribe. |
Day 10 | Maumere, Indonesia Visit Watublapi village for a traditional welcome and cultural experience featuring Ikat textiles. Return onboard for dinner as you sail toward Sabolon. |
Day 11 | Pulau Sabolon Besar, Indonesia Spend your final day swimming, snorkeling, and enjoying calm reefs before a stunning sunset to close your journey. |
Day 12 | Labuan Bajo, Flores, Indonesia Enjoy breakfast onboard before disembarkation at Labuan Bajo. |
